Miami Nice: These New Buildings Are Making Waves All Over the City
The renovation of a 16-story apartment building will bring 342 units to Biscayne Bay in South Beach and give prospective buyers an opportunity for private residence and condo-hotel ownership in the newest Mondrian hotel. Units, which offer ocean and Miami skyline views, start at $400,000 and go up to $4 million. Amenities will include private boat slips, beach access, a spa, a fitness center and a swimming pool with a Marcel Wanders chandelier hanging overhead. And if you're dying to get into Skybar, buyers get a card that gives them VIP access to all Morgans Hotel Group properties, which, not incidentally, includes New York's Hudson and Royalton hotels. Estimated date of completion is December 2007.
